Wellywoo is a new arrival to us, jewellery designed by local gal, Jillian, who wanted to make something unique and handmade from all the shells and stones that she has personally collected in Newfoundland. Each piece is labelled with its original location.
Jillian is also an avid dog lover ( Wellywoo is a named after her two dogs, Welly and Woo).
She has also worked in the veterinary industry for over 10 years and has always found the hardest part to be when a client cannot afford to pay for non-elective, emergency veterinary care. This is a horrible situation for everyone involved and she wanted to be able to help owners who find themselves in these situations. So from this, she created the Wellywoo Fund. A portion of all jewellery sales go towards the Wellywoo Fund. She is currently going through the process of making it into a registered charity.
