for the "One Day Without Shoes" movement!
Toms Shoes will donate a pair of shoes to a child in need with every pair you purchase.
This Thursday, they're raising awareness about the impact that pair of shoes could have on a child's life.
The reality is: some children are dealing with cuts and sores on their feet that can lead to serious infection, they attend school barefoot, walking miles for clean water, basic education and medical help.
In Ethiopia, approximately 1 million people are suffering from Podoconiosis, a disfiguring disease caused by walking in volcanic soil. This is preventable with basic foot hygiene and wearing shoes!
