& daddy's a sailor who never comes home

living next to the ocean is so wonderful and I was really happy to see a nautical theme running through our spring lines this year. they remind me of stories my grandmother would tell about all the ships coming into the harbor during the first world war. her and her girl friends would get all dressed up to go dancing with the sailors to live music downtown. I can't imagine how many ships & sailors have seen this harbor and how many hearts have left with them.

I Think! therefore I am

signs that spring has definitely arrived:
- the endless rain we are having today!
- the ton of people hanging out on cbtg's deck last thursday
- all the tourists that have been enjoying the water street shopping over the past couple days
- the maple tree in my backyard has started growing leaves
- and of course, the arrival of Think! spring shoes:

we are also expecting these styles from Think! later this month:

Think! shoes come all the way from Italy. they are made from all natural materials and
environmentally-friendly vegetable-tanned leathers. their sophisticated designs and soft colors are so perfect for this time of year. time to pop open the umbrella and head down to water street!

hi mom!

we love our mommy's very much here at twisted sisters and seeing as mother's day is approaching (this sunday!!) we decided to put together the perfect gift for that special lady.

to start, our beautiful new shipment of pyrrha necklaces are sure to make mom smile:

Mindfulness: The seal reads "Let us consider" in French.
The cherub symbolizes love and the owl, someone who is all knowing.

Owl: The owl represents wisdom and awareness.
It also symbolizes the ability to see what is hidden.

Vita: Seal shows a bee and reads "Vita" which means "Life."
The bee is a symbol of the original source of all life and inspiration.

Birth of Venus: Seal is a depiction of how beauty came into this world.
Venus is also known as Aphrodite, goddess of desire.

Mum: seal reads "Mum".

and a regional assembly of text greeting card to complement:

"I think it pretty well settled that you are the best kind of mother" -- inside blank

shoe spin wheel -- inside blank

"#1 mom" pin -- inside blank

now all you need is brunch reservations! :)
